The theme for the project was about the high streets and what people look out for when they are shoping. My ideas developed as at first I was only going to take photos of people walking around the high streets but I developed it to taking photos of people in the shops as well as walking arounf the highstreets but also add what they look for eg: price and sales. And I also added taking photos of reciept as when you go shopping reciepts are a big part of shopping as you always get them. I think I did good amount of research but I do feel like I could of done a little bit more of it. The photographyer that inspired my work is Martin Parr as he taken photos of people without telling them so it's all natule and they are not posing for the photo and the also taken photos of people in the shops buy food or clothes ect.

 

Also he is 'a chronicler of our age also a Leisure, consumption and communication' said Thomas Weski. This links in with my work as we shop for leisure and consumption as we shop becuase we want to and for fun but also if we need something new but then after a bit we throw it away then buy a new one. From this prodject i have lernt about the hip skill where I set down or standed there taking a photo without the people around me knowing about it.

For my websit I like how there is different photos for the backgrounds for every different topic as it's not the same old thing on every single page also like how it has the drop menu on the top and it's on every page so u don't have to go back to home page everytime to get the menu. The thing that could be improved is going in more depth on the information on some of the pages because then the reader will know more about what I am doing or about what they are reading.
